This is GOOD. Doc really captures my feelings in this post. I have been afraid since M-soft introduced .net. What if they replace the desktop with some web/net-centric environment? That would make Windows invisible, and Linux, and MacOS and...anyOS. This thought has freaked me out for some months now but I realize that it won't happen. For the same reason Google is becoming the most used online searchservice, Microsoft will not rule on the net. They do not give us, the users, what we want and that means we'll go somewhere else.
